Back once again and we’re joined by Manchester’s Chimpo (DJ/Producer/MC) and legend in the UK scene. From releasing GAZA with Trigga, playing around the world, creating his debut album the HIA LP, and dropping EP after EP, Chimpo is a one-of-a-kind artist with a unique sound.
In this exclusive interview, we had the privilege of sitting down with none other than Chimpo, a true legend in the UK music scene and a cherished member of Manchester’s creative tapestry. There’s plenty of gems in this one, and a real pleasure to catch-up and gain insight into Chimpo’s influences and journey so far.
From making beat tapes, havin it large with the Estate Family and LEVELZ to releasing with some of the biggest labels in drum and bass, Chimpo has continued to evolve and smash it.
