A Still Manchester Hip Hop Night with Caveman, Blakk ICE, Strange Soul & Ceej
We linked up with big Cave @CavemanM8 to bring the heavyweight MC & his special guests to the stage for a night of Manchester Hip Hop.
As expected, it was a proper party with good people, good vibes, and great music from the off! Playing a mix of classics, lesser-known gems and music straight out of Manchester, CEEJ (STILL MCR) kept the beats steady bumpin’.
Blakk Ice came with mad flows, snappy snares and exclusives in his performance, and later Strange Soul gave us a very wicked, super dope live beat set on a SP404.
Headlining the spot whether you like it or not though was Caveman! After a great 2023, it was a pleasure to kick off the new year in collaboration. Live & direct, his set raised the roof with crowd favourites ‘Condiments’ & a first live performance of his The £500 Gorilla Freestyle. There was even a dash of JT.
To draw the evening to the perfect close, an open mic hip hop cypher for the most ferocious mic controllers. Big bars and energy from all!
